The Berger-Marks Foundation released its report titled “Stepping Up, Stepping Back: Women ‘Talk Union’ Across Generations” that features recommendations emerging from a two day summit held in March 2010 sponsored by this foundation.  The foundation convened 30 young and older women from 20 different unions and allied organizations to address issues of mutual interest and resulted in a greater understanding of inter-generational differences and similarities. The report includes 10 important recommendations about what unions can do to attract and engage a new generation of young women workers.
