AFSCME Iowa Council 61 will announce the arbitrator’s award in the salary-and-benefit negotiations between state government and state employees that have been ongoing for the last several weeks.  That news conference happens at 2 p.m. at the Ramada Tropics Resort & Convention Center in Des Moines.
