| Karl Schilling, Des Moines | Des Moines Register (IA) | February 22, 2010 | Opponents of fair share are saying that the legislation would erode the Iowa right-to-work laws. One can only hope. Right to work really means a right to work for low wages, a right to be treated unfairly and a right to be terminated without cause. Right to work is a bill of goods sold to obscure the real motivations of the proponents: to be able to pay low wages and to get tax credits and other kinds of corporate welfare in order to stay in Iowa and replace businesses that try to treat employees with decency and respect. |
